ELLIOTT_Roger Edward (1960-2013)

Roger Edward Elliott "Smokey" of 1425 Clay St., Lynchburg, VA departed this life suddenly on March 14, 2013.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Davida Spinner Elliott of the residence; two sisters, Linda Charlton of Evington and Minister Ruth Charlton (James) of Rustburg; one brother, Eugene Elliott of Rustburg; one God-daughter, Shakima Thomas of Lynchburg and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Silver Grove Baptist Church, Rustburg, VA., on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 1:00 P.M., Rev. William A. Glover as the Eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. His remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. The family is receiving friends at 1425 Clay St. The cortege will assemble at the funeral home.
